Baby Leaf Harvesters
Designed specifically for the Horticultural and Agricultural industries these Harvesters have been manufactured for the producers where they gather green tender leafed vegetables including Spinach, Herbs and Watercress.
They are unique in their design and due to their relatively lightweight construction can be transported to any destination throughout the world.
Fully tested
The main framework of each machine is hand made at our factory.
All of the harvesters are fully tested before delivery.
They are economical, lightweight and very durable.
The large machines have been designed so that they can be loaded into a refrigerated trailer for ease of transport.
Pedestrian Harvester
GLP 90-120cm range.
The walk behind pedestrian operated low cost – low volume machine. This machine is based on the Hinowa hydro-static barrow.
Medium Tracked Harvesters
Medium Tracked Harvesters
Constructed on a purpose built chassis, this harvester comes with the driver seated on the left hand side of the machine.
Depending on the individual customer requirements, our mid range harvesters are manufactured with a cutting width of 1.2m – 1.5m.
We offer the option of these harvesters being fitted with a second separator belt conveyor behind the front elevator, under the belt is fitted a variable speed agitator shaft.
Stainless steel troughs between the belt collect all waste products.
To accommodate various crops
To accommodate various crops, belts are available with different sized holes. Recently, we modified the modular chain link plastic belt so that the belting now has positive drive via sprockets, preventing the belting from becoming untracked.
Carried on a rack above the conveyor, empty crates are easily reached by the crate fillers walking behind the machine.
This harvester can also be manufactured with the narrow track centres, making it perfect for harvesting watercress.

Description:
This range of wheeled harvesting units incorporates all the relevant components of the tracked harvesters.
Large Tracked Harvesters
GLL 150cm-170cm cutting width
This machine is the largest in the range of Morrish Engineering harvesters.
This robust high production machine was developed for growers who need to harvest large volumes of crop every day.
The operation of this machine is the same as it's smaller counterpart except the separator belt is longer with double agitation shafts mounted underneath.
Track centres can be adjusted to fit the centre of the wheelings. (max centres 2.0mtr)
A cross conveyor removes the waste product.
Various options are available at the rear of the machine, regarding the handling of the crop, either by a cross conveyor feeding on to a side elevator loading into a trailer pulled alongside the harvester or a crate filling system mounted across the machine behind the separator belt.
These systems both allow continuous operation of the harvester without compromising down time.
An optional extra available is an electrically driven front reel that can be fitted in front of the bandsaw head. This assists the harvesting of small/light crops by moving them over the knife onto the elevator. The unit can be easily hinged up out of the way when not required.
Large Wheeled Harvester
Description:
As before, a machine can be manufactured to the customer’s specific bespoke requirements, especially with regard to the method in which the cut crop is handled.
The machine is powered by a 74kw Kubota Turbo diesel engine with twin variable displacement piston pumps, driving 2 speed Poclain wheel motors in each wheel.
This impressive harvester is fitted with a spacious cab mounted centrally and is complete with heater/air conditioning, digital dash, camera system, and all operating controls, full road and work lights.
At the rear a carousel system allows crates to be unloaded/loaded to a trailer alongside.
As an alternative it is possible to pull a trailer behind the harvester with a modified carousel system.
All the usual extras can be fitted, i.e. front blower system, sonic insect repellent, wind covers over elevators, rear canopy.
